What and where to study?


APPLICATION & ENROLLMENT STEPS

1. Register on the university’s website

Click on Online recruitment and create an account. Registration only takes a few minutes but is not mandatory. After registration, your login will be your <family name & name> and your password will be <personal ID number>.

2. Fill out the recruitment form carefully

Fill out the information carefully, but remember that registration in the system is not necessary to obtain the status of a candidate. The condition of entering the list of candidates for studies is submitting a complete set of documents at the university’s headquarters.

3. Complete the required documents:

  • application form
  • secondary school-leaving certificate in the original or a copy thereof, or a duplicate or a photocopy certified by the University
  • photocopy of secondary school-leaving certificate certified by the University
  • one current photograph (35mm x 45mm size) without a head covering and an electronic version at 300 dpi
  • copy of ID card
  • confirmation of the recruitment fee in the amount set by the Chancellor.

4. Submit the required documents

The documents should be submitted at the headquarters of the University in Kielce or at the offices of the Outside Branches. Deadlines for submission of documents: until September 30th this year.

5. Pay your first tuition

All forms of studies at the University are chargeable. After qualifying for degree programs, admission to courses shall be conditional on the payment of the first installment of the tuition fee in the amount set by the University Chancellor.

6. Fees

Graduates of the Old Polish University are exempt from the entry fee. Tuition fees are payable in 12 monthly installments (payable in advance to 5th each month). The amount of tuition fees shall be set out in an annex to the contract for the provision of educational services in the Chancellor’s Order on the amount and rules for the regulation of tuition fees for candidates for studies in the academic year 2020/2021. You can pay tuition fees for the whole year in one installment, so you get a 5% discount.

The student does not pay additional fees related to the condition, extension of the session, short-term leave, long-term leave, additional exams, revision exams and program differences.

When repeating a year, students are obliged to pay 50% of the tuition fee for a given course.

7. The amount of the recruitment fee and the cost of studies can be found in the description of the course.

The title of the transfer should include: first and last name, recruitment fee. Recruitment fee should be paid within 3 days from the submission of electronic or paper documentation.
Tuition fees will be paid to your individual student account.

8. Qualifications for study

The qualification procedure for study is based on submitted documents.

The order of the submitted documents (until the limit on particular specialties is exhausted) determines admission to the studies.


SECOND DEGEE STUDY ADMISSIONS

1. The qualification for the studies is made in the order of applications until the limit of places for candidates who have completed the first-cycle studies of the same type as the second cycle studies is reached:

  • ECONOMICS study program – graduates of Economics or related studies,
  • FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING study program – graduates of Finance and accounting or related studies,
  • PEDAGOGY study program – graduates of Pedagogy,

2. Graduates of other study programs are admitted on the basis of an interview, however, pedagogical preparation is required for the candidates for the pedagogy study program.

3. In order to be admitted to the second cycle studies (Master’s degree), one must submit a set of recruitment documents required by the university:

  1. application form
  2. copy of the Bachelor’s degree diploma or a photocopy of the university’s graduation certified by the university,
  3. diploma supplement or information card containing a list of subjects (number of hours, form of crediting and assessment) credited by the candidate in the first degree studies.
  4. secondary school-leaving certificate in the original or a copy thereof, or a duplicate or a photocopy certified by the University.
  5. one current photograph (35mm x 45mm size) without a head covering and an electronic version at 300 dpi
  6. copy of ID card
  7. confirmation of the recruitment fee in the amount set by the University Chancellor.

4. Graduates of the Old Polish University in Kielce are admitted first. Graduates of universities with other study programs shall be required to submit, together with their enrolment documentation, a diploma supplement or an information sheet containing a list of subjects (number of hours, form of credit and grade) passed by a candidate as part of a first-cycle program. In such a case, the decision on admission to studies may be made by the Director of the relevant Institute, if the learning outcomes of the completed study program are similar to the learning outcomes for the study program run by the University.

5. The condition for admission to second-cycle studies for candidates who have completed another first-cycle study program is a positive result of the qualification procedure in the form of an interview. The candidate will be informed about the date of the interview individually.
